Your Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer (a natural person purchasing for personal use, not for business purposes), you benefit from the protections provided by:
- Romanian consumer protection law (OG 21/1992 and related legislation)
- EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights
- EU Directive 2013/11/EU on alternative dispute resolution for consumers
Nothing in our Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, or other legal documents limits or excludes statutory rights that cannot legally be waived or excluded under applicable consumer law.
Cancellation and Withdrawal Rights
For SaaS subscriptions (managed Odoo hosting):
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from the customer portal or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future billing; the service remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Under EU consumer law, consumers generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal from distance contracts. However, for digital services commenced with your express consent before the withdrawal period expires, and where you acknowledged the loss of withdrawal right, this right may not apply. If you believe this right applies to your purchase, please contact us.
For digital products (software modules): Once access is granted, the right of withdrawal may not apply if you consented to delivery before the period expired. If you believe otherwise, contact us to discuss.
For all enquiries about cancellation or withdrawal: [email protected] — we will respond within 5 business days.
How to Raise a Complaint
- Contact us first — email [email protected] with your complaint. We aim to respond within 5 business days and resolve most issues within 14 days.
- If your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the competent consumer protection authority or an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity as below.
Romanian Consumer Authority — ANPC
Romanian consumers can contact the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (ANPC) — the National Authority for Consumer Protection:
- Website: anpc.ro
- ANPC SAL (Alternative Dispute Resolution / Soluționarea Alternativă a Litigiilor): anpc.ro/ce-facem/sal/
- Consumer complaints hotline: 021 9551
ANPC SAL provides an accessible, low-cost out-of-court procedure for resolving consumer disputes with traders based in Romania. Using ANPC SAL does not affect your right to take the matter to court.
EU Online Dispute Resolution — Important Notice
The European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued in February 2024 and is no longer operational. We do not provide a link to it as it is no longer a functioning service.
For cross-border disputes within the EU, consumers may contact their national consumer protection authority or the European Consumer Centre Network (ECC-Net) for guidance.
GDPR and Data Protection
For complaints about how we handle your personal data, you can contact the Romanian Data Protection Authority:
- ANSPDCP — Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal
- Website: www.dataprotection.ro
