These Module License Terms apply to all software modules, digital products, and related services sold or made available by CodifyAI. By purchasing or accessing a CodifyAI module, you agree to these terms.

1. What CodifyAI Sells

CodifyAI offers:

Custom Odoo Community modules (downloadable or access-based)
Managed SaaS environments with pre-installed modules
Implementation, configuration, and consulting services
Technical support and maintenance

The exact scope of each product or service is defined on the respective product page or in a separate written agreement.

2. Licence Granted

Unless otherwise stated on the product page or in a separate written agreement, by purchasing a CodifyAI module you receive:

A non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the purchased module for your own internal business operations on the number of Odoo instances specified at purchase.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the module or its source code to you.

3. Restrictions

Unless separately agreed in writing, you may not:

Resell, rent, lease, or transfer the module or your licence to any third party
Redistribute or publish the module source code
Sublicence the module to third parties
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, author credit, or trademark notices
Use the module to create a competing product substantially derived from it
Use the module for any purpose that violates applicable law

Some open-source components included in or required by CodifyAI modules may be subject to their own licences (such as GNU LGPLv3). Those licences remain applicable and are not overridden by these terms.

4. Dependența de Odoo Community

CodifyAI modules are developed for use with Odoo Community Edition. Odoo Community is licensed separately under the GNU Lesser General Public Licence v3 (LGPLv3). CodifyAI does not sell Odoo Enterprise licences. If you wish to use Odoo Enterprise, you must obtain a separate commercial agreement directly with Odoo S.A.

Odoo® is a registered trademark of Odoo S.A. CodifyAI is an independent software company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with Odoo S.A. CodifyAI does not sell Odoo licences.

5. Compatibilitate

Each product page specifies:

Supported Odoo version(s)
Supported Odoo edition (Community only, unless stated)
Known dependencies on other modules
Whether installation is included in the purchase
Support period included
Update period included

Compatibility with heavily customised Odoo installations or third-party modules not specified on the product page is not guaranteed unless tested and agreed in writing before purchase.

6. Backups

The customer is responsible for backing up their Odoo environment before installing any new module, unless CodifyAI is explicitly contracted to manage installation and system backups as part of the purchased service. CodifyAI accepts no liability for data loss resulting from module installation on customer-managed systems.

7. Updates and Bug Fixes

The product page defines whether updates are included. Unless otherwise stated:

Bug fixes for verified defects are included for 90 days from the date of purchase
Feature additions and enhancements beyond the original specification are separate paid work
Migration to a newer Odoo version (e.g., 17 → 18) is a separate paid service

8. Support

Support is scoped to the terms on the product page. Unless a separate SLA is agreed:

Support covers: installation of the module as documented, and resolution of defects in its core functionality
Support does not cover: your general Odoo configuration, unrelated third-party modules, custom code you have added, or business process consultancy
Response times are best-efforts and are not guaranteed without an SLA

9. Refunds

Refund eligibility for modules is governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All CodifyAI modules, their source code, design, and associated materials remain the intellectual property of CodifyAI or its licensors, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Purchase of a licence grants you a right to use, not ownership.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodifyAI's total liability arising from or related to a purchased module is limited to the amount paid for that specific product. CodifyAI does not warrant that modules will be completely error-free or uninterrupted. This limitation does not apply to liability arising from fraud or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection or mandatory law.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Romanian law, unless a separate written agreement or applicable mandatory law provides otherwise. Disputes arising from module purchases shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Romanian courts, unless applicable consumer protection rules in the customer's jurisdiction provide otherwise.
