Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when and how CodifyAI processes refunds and cancellations for our products and services. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.

1. Digital Products and Software Modules

CodifyAI sells custom Odoo Community modules as digital products. The following applies to all module purchases:

  • Once access to a module has been granted or a download link has been provided, refunds are generally not available as digital content has been delivered.
  • If a module contains a verifiable defect or does not function as described on the product page, please contact us within 14 days of purchase at [email protected] with your order number and a description of the issue.
  • We will attempt to fix the issue. If we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable timeframe, we will review refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
  • Modules are tested for the Odoo version stated on the product page. Compatibility issues with custom installations or other third-party modules do not automatically entitle you to a refund.

Consumer Rights: Where mandatory consumer protection rules apply under EU Directive 2011/83/EU or applicable Romanian consumer protection law, nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted. If you believe statutory rights apply to your purchase, please contact us to discuss.

2. SaaS Subscriptions

For subscription-based managed Odoo hosting services:

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Current billing period: We do not automatically refund the remaining days of a billing period that has already been charged, unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you. Continued non-payment may result in service suspension and, after a grace period, account termination. Contact us promptly if you have a billing issue.
  • Free trial periods: If a free trial applies, no charge is made if you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Data after cancellation: See our SaaS Subscription Terms for data retention and export information after cancellation.

3. Custom Development and Implementation Services

  • Custom development work that has been designed, coded, or delivered represents unique work performed to your specifications. Once delivered, this work is generally non-refundable.
  • If milestones are defined in your project agreement, payment terms per milestone apply as agreed.
  • Disputes about delivered work quality should be raised promptly. We will work in good faith to resolve concerns about quality.

4. Consulting and Support Services

  • Consulting time, support sessions, and training already delivered are not refundable once the service has been provided.
  • Prepaid support bundles: unused time may be carried forward subject to any expiry terms communicated at purchase.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

  • Your name and account email address
  • Order reference number
  • Product or service name
  • Reason for the refund request

We aim to respond within 5 business days of receiving your request.

6. Consumer Dispute Resolution — ANPC

If you are a consumer and your refund or cancellation request is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the Romanian consumer protection authority:

Using ANPC SAL is free of charge for consumers and does not affect your right to take the matter to a court of law. See our Consumer Protection page for further information.

Note: The EU-wide Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was shut down in February 2024 and is no longer operational. We do not link to it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version and date shown above are the current version. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice in the customer portal.
